Welcome to the EKO Haiti Photographic database. With photographs dating back to the 1880s up to the present and including a wide variety of subjects pertaining to all aspects of life in Haiti, our database is the largest crowdsourced searchable photographic archive dedicated to Haiti.

Photographs contained in this database have either been acquired directly from their authors or the public domain under Creative Commons Licences. The licence type for each photograph is available in the image Metadata (under the photograph) and we ask users to follow the CC licence rules when using the image. For images labelled as 'UNLICENSED', we kindly ask users that these photographs are cited 'Courtesy of the EKO Haiti Archives'.
